Mercy & Mission
We believe that the Gospel of Jesus is not just about information, but about transformation. One of the ways it transforms us is by encouraging us towards radical generosity. The good news of the Gospel is that we, who were poor, have been made rich, because Jesus, who had all the riches of heaven, chose to become poor and give to us the abundance of his grace and mercy and love. It is now our joy to give out of this abundance to those around us.
Incarnation is financially and relationally invested in the Gospel-centered organizations below because they live out Scripture’s call to love our neighbors, particularly the poor, orphans, refugees, and other vulnerable people groups. Our Missional Communities (ie. small groups) as well as many individuals regularly serve alongside these groups.
Our Mercy Team is also able to help individuals within and connected to Incarnation with financial and tangible needs. This has looked like helping to pay for counseling services, cover emergency plumbing bills, provide manual labor for moving or home repair after a storm, just to name a few examples. Legacy Refuge
The mission of Legacy Refuge is to see every orphan come to know Christ, heal from trauma, and live a healthy and productive life. Their work includes three main facets: job and life skills programs for teens and young adults aging out of orphanages or foster care, VBS-style camp programs designed to build resilience and promote healing from trauma in younger children, and leadership and missions training programs for young adults with a heart for orphan care. These programs are implemented in countries around the world, including, Ukraine, Spain, Ethiopia, South Africa, the US, Romania, and more. Incarnation has had 7 young adults go through the leader training program, and all of them continue to serve in some capacity. What a blessing!
Intervarsity

Since 1967, InterVarsity Tallahassee has been in the business of making disciples on campus. Our vision is to see students and faculty transformed, campuses renewed and world changers developed by the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We carry out our vision by planting witnessing communities at FSU, FAMU, and TSC, where students encounter God through inductive bible study, leadership development and evangelism.
We desire for every college student and faculty on the three college campuses to hear about Jesus and have the opportunity to make a decision about following him. With God’s help, we will continue to form and equip disciples of Christ in this generation!
Deafchurch together
The Deaf Community is recognized as one of the largest, least-reached people groups in the world. DeafChurch Together offers a practical design for outreach and building Deaf-centric communities of faith and belonging. Multiple small groups based on Acts 2:42 connect and come together as part of a regional Christian mission. DeafChurch Together is planting its first in-person church and we are thrilled that it is located in St. Augustine, Florida, within the Gulf Atlantic Diocese.
Cru inner city

God is changing lives in inner-city Tallahassee. Through local inner-city churches, people are encouraging the hope of Christ, building meaningful relationships, and experiencing lasting change. Cru Inner City’s Circle of Hope equips our partner churches to walk alongside their neighbors and serve their communities with compassion and purpose. John and Krista Bump, who lead Cru Inner City in Tallahassee, also host a house church (“Incarnation East”) in their home.
Safe families
Safe Families for Children exists to practice radical hospitality, disruptive generosity, and intentional compassion within local communities, addressing the challenges of social isolation, limited access to resources, and parental stress that often lead to foster care and family separation. They provide an innovative, evidence-based, and Family First-approved approach that supports parents by connecting them to a caring network of relationships and resources before child welfare involvement becomes necessary.
neighborly
Neighborly longs to see Heaven come to Earth as we serve Christ in the disguise of our hungry, thirsty, displaced, unclothed and isolated neighbors. Our vision is to create spaces where the Gospel is experienced with all five senses for five of the world’s most vulnerable people groups. Specific to Tallahassee, we gather monthly to host a Jubilee Market for refugee families where they can make friends and get key supplies. Weekly, our, Breakfast Brigade feeds day-laborers whose jobs start too early to benefit from the food provided at most homeless shelters.
