We Believe in Missional Communities
Missional Communities are smaller groups where life, faith, and mission come together. They’re places to build real friendships, grow in love for God, and join others in serving the world around us. While gathering on Sundays is important, we all need additional space where we can be known, share our gifts, and live out God’s mission in everyday ways. Missional Communities are where that happens.
Below is a list of our 2025-26 Missional Communities as well as contact information for their leaders!
levy park
MONDAYS, 5:30 - 7:30pm
Levy Park Missional Community is centered on families and rooted in the neighborhood. Our bi-weekly rhythm alternates between an all-ages family prayer night one week to a Bible study for adults with childcare provided for kids up to age 12 the next week. Singles and couples without children are of course welcome as well. We also want to deepen our relationships with our Levy Park neighbors by hosting regular cookouts.
CONSTELLATION
Middle School Fellowship
WEDNESDAYS, 7:00 - 8:30pm
This missional community for middle school students meets twice a month for dinner, games, music, and Bible study. In addition, once a month we serve the children of Springfield apartments together. Join us as we grow in love for the Lord, for one another, and for those around us.
High School Fellowship
WEDNESDAYS, 7:00 - 8:30pm
This missional community for high school students meets twice a month for dinner, games, music, and peer-led Bible study. Once a month we serve the children of Springfield apartments together. High School students also have the option of meeting monthly with a mentor. Join us as we grow in our love for the Lord and for one another, and as we practice using our gifts to bless the people around us.
Missional FAMILIES
WEDNESDAYS, 5:30 - 7:15pm
It's hard for parents of young kids to engage in Missional Communities for a variety of reasons: bedtimes, school schedules, nap time, tricky kid dynamics, and more. We think it's important and worth working hard to make it happen! Missional Families meets every other Wednesday for dinner followed by Bible study. The kids are watched by babysitters and play together so that the parents can have time together. Babies and toddlers who still need to be with their parents are welcome inside with their parents. On the alternate weeks we have men’s or women's prayer time. Our mission focus will be helping with Neighborly’s Jubilee Market for refugee families. Bring your whole family and let's become family to one another.
The Table
SUNDAYS, 3:30 - 5:00pm
We’re seeking to be a community that’s growing in faith, deepening friendships, and authentically loving our friends who don’t know Jesus. We meet weekly for Bible discussions, discipleship, and prayer. We’ll also have monthly game nights that anyone is welcome to!
encounters
WEdnesdays, 6:30 - 8:00pm
Our missional community seeks to encounter Christ as we encounter one another both within the group and amongst a broader group of family, friends, and neighbors. We meet weekly for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship in a home near Midtown. If you feel like you struggle to share Jesus winsomely with your family and friends, we do too! This is a group to encourage you as we figure it out together. We’ll focus on hospitality and spending time with people the way Jesus did.
Practicing the way
Every other tuesday, 6:45 - 8:00pm
Our Practicing the Way group consists of women of all ages. We study and practice various disciplines of our faith. This spring we will focus on Holy Week using the book "Holy Week: The Week that Changed the World" by R. C. Sproul. We will discuss and practice how to have a Holy Lent this season by focusing on the events leading to and including the resurrection. Come join us for laughter, support, and spiritual growth. Our group mission will focus on feeding the hungry in our community this season.
Head, Heart, Hands
TUESDAYS, 7:00 - 8:30pm
This missional community will do an in depth study of Isaiah 58. We will alternate weeks of learning from Scripture, responding in a creative way using the arts, and having time for food and fellowship. Our mission is to learn from God's word together alongside our friends who are refugees as well as those with learning differences.
